Finance Manager £60k London
The business- highly successful and still growing international technical event and scenic staging production company. Locations: London Barcelona Dubai Bahrain
Scope of the role –
Oversee & direct the finance team’s transaction accounting activities, including: General Ledgers, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed assets, Internal controls, Consolidation. Ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained and proper job costing accounting.
Lead, perform and prepare all financial statements – monthly closing, year-end closing of accounts in respect of IFRS. Monthly and year-end reconciliations. P&L, balance sheet and cash flow. Report, analyse and ensure integrity of all financial information.
Liaise with external Auditors for annual audit works. Ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Prepare relevant tax reports for filing with HMRC.
Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and making recommendations on supplier payments.
Prepare long-term and short-term cash flow projection reports.
Reporting to the CFO and assisting in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members. Develop budgets, forecasts and financial models to analyse the business costs. Regular commercial reports on the company’s financial activities.
Finance Manager credentials
Hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA),
Have several years of experience in events or creative business, preferably an international one.
Experience of Sage 50 would be a strong advantage; excellent Excel sheets experience; management
experience; leadership skills; interpersonal skills; outstanding mathematical skills; honesty; integrity;
