Senior Audio-Visual Technician
This role is working directly for one of our clients who is a specialist and unique venue in Central London. The role is work with the AV manager to be responsible for the support and supervision of the AV team (6-10 members). The AV team provide audio visual support and operation in a number of meeting rooms and event spaces including lecture theatres that involve audio visual, lighting, filming, conference call/video, IPTV and production services. The senior AV technician will coordinate the resources and staff allocation to ensure all events and meetings are appropriately supported with the correct technology and support. The role also includes liaison with clients regarding their requirements and offer expert advice. In coordination with the AV Manager, liaison and negotiation with suppliers and external contractors; asset and contract management of the organisation’s audio-visual equipment.
This role will suit an experienced audio-visual technician who has supervisory experience in a venue event environment with multiple meeting rooms and event spaces. Technically, extensive experience of events audio visual, conference call/video (Polycom Codex etc), lighting and DMX and staging is required. Also, an understanding of LAN networks and IT connectivity and AV room control systems AMX/Crestron style.
