Our client is a specialist floral design studio to the stars in the UK and the States! They design and supply bespoke and highly creative floral designs and displays for luxury parties, events, weddings and contracts in high end hotels and venues.
The company is a small collective of creative professionals supported by a team of regular freelancers. Their 4000 square foot studio is based seven miles south-west of Charing Cross on the border be-tween Inner London and Outer London.
They are looking to recruit a permanent person to join their close-knit team as their warehouse manager. This is in terms of managing the stock and warehouse studio space not staff. They require someone with a massively strong work ethic who ideally understands organising stock and keeping items organised. You don’t need to know about floristry although an interest would be good. You will be taught everything about this specialist business you would need to know.
As well as keeping the warehouse tidy organised and knowing where everything is at a moment’s notice. You will also support the other team members such as the operations manager and when required go with them to the flower markets to select blooms for current projects.
Hours of work are likely to be Tuesday to Saturday 4am to 14.00 but the person must be flexible. They must also be local to Mitcham in Surrey and live no more than 30 minutes away. Salary is £28-30k. This is truly a mazing opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who has knowledge of warehouse stock control and ideally an interest in either floristry or live events or even both
